Engineer Client is a company that positions itself as a marketing and business communications partner who helps its clients to transform internal processes in a variety of verticals starting from financial services and healthcare to retail and energy.
Now Client is using off-the-shelf solution that supports location-specific marketing for their clients. There are a lot of products on the market of the same origin, however neither of them fully match needs of the Client. It is desired to build a similar but modified, according to unique preferences, tool that will be more cost-efficient and improve day-to-day work of its product users.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Several years (typically 3+ years) of experience in software development using the .NET framework, including C#.
- Good in .NET Core/.NET 5+ and ASP.NET Core.
- Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Experience with web application development and relevant technologies (e.g., ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
- Familiarity with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Good with development tools, source control, and build automation (e.g., Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins).
- Knowledge/Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Upper Intermediate English level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using the .NET framework, following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in the estimation sessions.
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to junior developers, maintaining code quality and consistency.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Writing unit and integration tests, to maintain code quality.
- Collaborate with team members, to deliver high-quality software.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code development processes.
- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
