Junior UI/UX Designer at Sigma Software

Our design team, which currently consists of 60 creative and talented individuals, is looking for like-minded people. We are experts in converting ideas, business goals, and requirements into highly efficient and easy-to-use products for dozens of clients worldwide.

We love to take on challenges and responsibility for the entire product design to deliver top-notch web, mobile, or even custom-tailored embedded interfaces using a wide variety of existing tools, techniques, and approaches including custom illustrations, 3D and motion graphics, AR/VR experiences, etc.⠀

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1-2 years of commercial experience in a relevant position
• Basic knowledge of software development process and estimation techniques
• Familiarity with Sketch and Figma, basic understanding of mobile UI, and knowledge of Android and IOS guidelines
• Ability to conduct UI reviews
• Basic knowledge of the HTML/CSS principles
• Ability to create simple UI animations
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS PowerPoint
• Intermediate+ level of English and the ability to handle both online and written communications
• Curiosity and continuous learning to develop new skills and improve existing ones
• Ability to work in a team or individually, under the supervision of senior colleagues
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create design mockups based on approved concepts and wireframes for web/desktop/mobile/embedded products
• Work with responsive web and touchscreen UI
• Work closely with the design team, project managers, BAs, and developers. Effectively perform design hand-off and communicate design decisions
• Complete design tasks within the deadline and according to the task description and technical constraints
• Estimate the time required to complete the work, involving a mentor/lead/senior designer to validate major estimates
• Communicate with the PM and Senior Designers on any project issues that can affect time & effort estimates or design processes
• Follow project requirements identified and set by PM/TL and comply with the rules established in the corresponding project
• Carry out work according to the functional requirements, under PM/TL supervision. Apply comments from TL and work with the feedback
• Proofread before the delivery, producing accurate and high-quality work
• Adhere to the design and UX/UI guidelines (storage structure and source files handling culture)
